the pure interest

I can’t even describe how happy I am it’s Friday. This week has been awesome, frustrating, and tiring in more ways than one. With struggling with losing weight, to lots to do at home, to brian preparing for his haiti trip, to his car situation still being out of wack, to constant wallpaper removal and tons of cleaning, to work - i am ready for a break.

I am going to leave early… and I have a lunch date planned with some graphic designy friends, so those are both going to be fun things.

Brian and I are going to a Penguins vs. Flyers game tomorrow in Pittsburgh. The tickets were a present from his parents… and we are excited to get away and have a fun day together. It should be awesome! We’re used to Erie Otter’s games, so seeing the NHL will be great. Jealous?

This weekend’s goal is to finish the dining room wallpaper removal, spackle and sand and wash walls, and prime the walls. i am so excited to be done in there. I’m not sure if you know the struggle and sheer amoutn of time it’s taken to get that old 1938 wallpaper off the walls, but its been a lot. i’m close to being done now and that makes me happy

Small group tonight - yay! I have lots of cleaning to do!!

new updates are starting to appear on the site, so keep checking back. i’m working hard to get things back on track for 2006 but I’m super busy right now with other churchy actvities and work so it’s taking me a while…. but we’ll get there. Also I want to apologize for the slowness on getting sermons and audio posted… my laptop that I usually use to make updates has been on the fritz, and I finally decided I had to take it to the doctor (repair shop) to get some help… plus with the holidays I got behind! They are coming though…keep checking back!!

Thanks for the support guys - keep using the site and recommending it to others for information. 2005 was a great year and many developments were made using the website, including new visitors coming to the church and people getting necessary information without having to make tons of phone calls!

I’m looking forward to 2006 and all that it will bring for our church. On that note, lets use this moment to pray for the sale of the building again… this will be the year!!
