It’s about time!!! Fed Ex report:

I have to say, I think Sprint’s advertising is just so cool. Check out these short video shortcuts on waitless.org. I saw these advertised on Dooce’s site. ha! Also, Bossy commented on my umbrella post. WOAAAH!!!

Back to Sprint though. I love the glowing animated blue text and animated neon lines. How do they do this I wonder? It’s so unique… even the dark colors and night sky that is almost always present.

You can also make a cute handmade e-card. But, it’s not even half as cute when the letters aren’t moving. Try it yourself!

This umbrella is from Veer. Is it funky or WHAT?? But…. $49? I think not. I lose umbrellas way too easily to pay that much for one!

Well… I found out the reason my laptop has been “sitting” in the fed ex system since  Monday morning. Apparently Fed Ex is backed up because of a typhoon. And because my MacBook Pro was custom made… well it was made in China. CRazy!!!! I guess it helps give me some perspective, right?

While watching The Biggest Loser, I stumbled across a recipe for these cupcakes on top, and proceeded to indulge myself by visiting marthastewart.com’s food section and loooking at these lucious pictures of beautiful desserts. Ironic, eh?

 Molly, and other engaged 20-somethings, you should do an awesome cupcake wedding cake arrangement. :-)  I had a good friend who did it and it was beautiful. Course, so was my semi-traditional but funky yet romantic wedding cake (biased).

Microsoft Office 2008 for MAC

it’s about TIME they upgraded this! I added on iworks on my MacBook Pro though, so I may not need it, depending on how it works for me. What about you out there? Do you rely on iworks for your office-type needs or do you use Microsoft Office for Mac?

And, not to post another color chart, but this one was so cool! Something about the vertical arrangement gave me a lot of inspiration.

This weekend was just perfect… lightly sunny with a beautiful breeze. I am eagerly awaiting my mums to pop open and bathe the side of the house in color . . . I got to do a bit of fall gardening, transplanting some things and preparing for colder temps.  I will do a photography session once my mums start to open!

Saturday morning I woke up, and Zelda was sitting in the window in our upstairs office.  I went and sat by her and noticed some gorgeous leaves I never would have noticed while on the ground. I was able to pull out my camera, pull up the screen, and take some really cool pictures. Of course, I don’t have them here but will post later with the fall pics.  It was so quiet and cool that morning . . . peaceful, which is odd for my corner

Later on Saturday we got some horrible news about some friends out in Minneapolis and their expected baby. My heart and prayers go out to them… It’s basically all I’ve been able to think about since. I just can’t imagine.

Rumored Update. How typical is it that the updates about the MacBook start filtering in as soon as I order, when they’ve only been about the iPhone for the last 4 months?

OH well, I needed what I bought, and I couldn’t wait any longer . . . so, the grass is greener right where I’m standing.

My great friend Kristin and I got together and had popcorn, watched Will & Grace, and made these beauteous drinks. Raspberry Schnapps and sprite. w00t!

A few weeks ago, Danielle & her hubby Dave took us to Pittsburgh where we went to Ikea and Chipotle. Here are a few of the coolest pics from that trip.
